Custom-moulding

Description
Customer-specific mouldings can be produced on the basis of a reference pattern, the customer's drawing and our own Design & Development section, in response to the installation situation and application parameters.
Mouldings can be produced from a variety of elastomers and thermoplasts. We have a variety of qualities available here. The production of elastomer-metal compounds (2-component parts) is also possible, as are very small serial production runs, hand specimens for internal experimental purposes based on pilot tools and large-scale serial production runs.

Production
Depending on the volume of the part, its quantity and geometry, mouldings can be produced by the injection-moulding (IM), compression-moulding (CM) or transfer-moulding (TM) procedure.

Materials
Raw rubbers from high-profile manufacturers are processed. It is possible to process the following elastomers and thermoplasts and produce them in the widest range of Shore hardnesses:
NBR, FKM, EPDM, VMQ, FVMQ, H-NBR, AEM, ACM, SBR, PTFE, TPU

Apart from the standard mixtures, there are also special mixtures available, e.g. for use in the low-temperature field, offering the appropriate chemical resistance or very favourable pressure deformation residual values.
Some mixtures have been specifically developed for sector-specific applications and officially tested, with test results for long-term test or tests in special media (RME and various oils and fuels) available as a result. Some mixtures meet the requirements of the automotive industry and have been tested to automotive standards, e.g. DBL, BMW, Volvo STD or VW 2.8.1.

To facilitate installation, mouldings can be provided with a variety of surface coatings, e.g. PTFE or silicone lacquers.

Applications
Mouldings are used in many sectors, such as the automotive, electrical, valve, threaded tube connections and fittings industries, and in plant and mechanical engineering, the field of renewable energy and the foodstuffs industry.

Product overview
The following mouldings are used for the widest variety of applications:
Sockets, buffers, damper rings, oil and air filter seals, casing seals, DIN 3869 profile sealing rings for threaded tube connections, sealing rings for plug-fit connections and sensors, cable channels, and many others.
